Our Philosophy On
Raising Puppies

We breed our dogs only when the time is right in our lives where we are ready to bring another puppy into our home and have the time to devote to the litter when it is born. We breed for conformation AND temperament. Our show prospects are sold with the understanding that the puppy is the family companion/pet first and show dog second. We demand certain things from our puppy homes. 1. The puppy must live in the house and be a part of the family. 2. Must have a fenced yard...too many dogs have been hit chasing after a bird...squirrel...cat etc... 3. Buy a crate for the puppy. This protects your puppy and house when you are at work/school or sleeping.
Puppies are a family project at our house, all members of the family participate in the care (loving, feeding, playing, de-pooping, and grooming) of the litter. Our puppies are whelped in our bedroom, then move out to the living room once they are weaned. We live in a small town and our neighbors love to help us socialize the puppies when they are outside in the ex-pen. Our number one concern when placing puppies is the welfare of the puppy and matching the personality of the puppy to the personalities of their new family.
